he Public Information Department is dedicated to providing accurate, timely information to our community. We work closely with media outlets locally, regionally and nationally. The office manages a number of social media pages and platforms for the County and serves as an advisor to other departments on communications strategy and outreach. The office manages the Horry County Government Access Channel available on Spectrum/Time Warner channel 1301 or Horry Telephone Cooperative Channel 14.
